					Directory of Service Providers in County Clare

The Clare County Development Board has compiled a Directory of Service Providers in County Clare which identifies the services available to the people of Clare. This Directory is a vital step towards planning for integrated service delivery in Clare. It will act as an important resource for the people of Clare as it contains information on the different organisations throughout the county, their location, and the nature of the services, and/or programmes which they provide.

The Directory is divided into five main sections with a total of over 70 organisations listed - Local Government, Local Development, Social Partners, State Sector, and Countywide Community and Voluntary Groups. The Clare CDB will update this directory on an ongoing basis to reflect the changes in the services provided within the county.

					Directory of Community and Voluntary Groups in County Clare

The Clare County Development Board has a database of nearly 400 Community and Voluntary groups in County Clare. This database has been developed over a number of years and is constantly being updated. Placing it on this website is an ideal medium to keep the information on the groups updated and relevant.

The process to develop this Directory began in the Summer of 2002. An advert was placed in the Clare Champion advising Community and Voluntary Groups of this event. A questionnaire was sent to the contact people of all the groups that the Directorate of Community and Enterprise has on their database.

The Directory is one of a number of publications undertaken by the County Development Board. It is divided into ten main sections as follows:

Agriculture
Environment
Social Groups
Arts, Culture and Heritage
General

Sports, Recreation and Leisure
Community
Health and Welfare
Education and Training
Residents Associations

If your organisation falls under one of these categories and is not included in this Directory, the Clare County Development Board invites you to submit your organisational details for inclusion in subsequent Directories
